Jieun Cha is a photographer based in Los Angeles, working mainly in the field of abstract photography. Through her images, she explores the flow of time and the deep emotions that often go unspoken. Using long exposure techniques, she creates visual spaces where feelings can be seen and reflected upon.

Her series Emotions in Abstraction grew out of her own journey of learning to understand and express emotions. Photography became her way of giving shape to feelings that were once hidden. Her work invites viewers to connect with their own inner experiences.

In addition to her photographic practice, Jieun is the co-founder of Polydrops, a company that designs energy-efficient travel trailers. With a background in architecture and design, she brings a thoughtful sense of space and structure to everything she creates.
